Claire Dunwell

Claire is senior features writer on Fab Daily specialising in a range of subjects such as relationships, parenting, beauty, celebrity interviews and real life stories as well as consumer pieces. She has worked as a journalist for more than 20 years starting her career as a local and regional reporter after graduating from university in 1999. She went onto become features editor at a national press agency, specialising in female led content and has shared hundreds of stories told by people from all walks of life. Claire freelanced for many years prior to joining the paper in December 2020 which included being a regular contributor to Fab Daily.  During her career she has worked for many national magazines and newspapers, mentored former colleagues and enjoyed a stint teaching media students in Leeds. Most recently, she was asked to be part of the judging panel for the Society of Editors' Media Freedom Awards.
