Catriona Mactaggart

After graduating from the University of Glasgow with an MA (Hons) in Classics and English Literature in 2019, Catriona began working as an entertainment journalist. She got her start writing about all aspects of film, TV and celebrity pop culture for outlets like Nicki Swift and Small Screen, before joining The Sun as a digital TV reporter in 2022. Catriona loves to write about the hottest things currently streaming and has covered everything from fantasy dramas and supernatural series like Wednesday, to the comedy-mystery series Only Murders in the Building. She also takes every opportunity to wax lyrical about the best TV shows from past decades and has enjoyed covering Gavin and Stacey’s return to the small screen in 2024. Catriona’s work spans continents as she regularly pens news, feature and opinion articles for U.S. entertainment platform Looper and is the site’s resident Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon expert.
