Denise Welch wins Celebrity Big Brother

DENISE Welch was crowned the winner of this year’s Celebrity Big Brother.

The Loose Women star pipped favourite Frankie Cocozza to take the CBB crown in
tonight’s final.

Denise, who stripped off several times on the show, almost showed off her
assets again as she left the house.

From pulling Playboy housemate Karissa’s pants down to stripping naked in the
hot tub, the loud-mouthed TV star’s time in the house was turbulent.

The Waterloo Road star said: “I have never been so lost for words. It
feels bloody brilliant.”

After she was quizzed on her outrageous behaviour in the hot tub, she said: “I
was trying to show the twins you don’t need a boob job. I did regret it.

“But I thought naughty boys Frankie and Kirk should benefit by having a
woman naked in the hot tub.”

Runner-up Frankie Cocozza, 19, who was booed when he entered the house, came
out to cheers from the show’s fans.

X Factor reject Frankie, who was kicked off the show for snorting cocaine, had
11/10 odds to be crowned this year’s winner.

His ex-mentor Gary Barlow even gave his backing, tweeting earlier today “Come
on FrankieCocozza I hope you win mate”.

The teen lothario told CBB host Brian Dowling that he has a chance with the
Playboy twins. He said: “The girls actually love me. Behind the scenes,
they really do.”

Frankie revealed he didn’t expect to stay very long in the house, “four
days at most”.

Rugby player Gareth Thomas was the third celebrity to exit the house. The
openly gay Welsh star got just one nomination throughout the series.

Gareth spoke after his eviction about his friendship with Nicola McLean. “Nicola
and Natalie were rocks. They looked after me. It was horrible to hear people
booed. You only saw one hour of Nicola. Nicola is a wonderful person.”

The fit rugby player however said he struggled to cope with “finding
nothing to do” in his time in the house.

Bad sport ... Michael Madsen refused to take part in the Big Brother task

Earlier in the night, Hollywood actor Michael Madsen became the second
celebrity to be evicted. The Reservoir Dogs star, once the favourite to win
the show, departed in a cowboy hat and red shirt suit combo.

Michael, who formed a bond with Frankie Cocozza and even taught him how to
shave, revealed Frankie reminded him of “his own teenage sons”.

He told Brian Dowling: “I got some teenage sons of my own, he reminded me
of being round my boys. He was so funny. I had to make his bed every day…
and I tried to give him advice to stop smoking.”

But there was no love lost between him and Denise Welch. He said: “Can
you ask security to keep her away from me? I couldn’t tell what she was
after. I tried to make peace but she wasn’t having it.”

Playboy twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon failed to make the cut in the final
and were the first celebs to be booted out.

The girls, who were embroiled in controversy in the series, were met with boos
as they stepped out of the house.

Karissa wore a pink dress while Kristina wore a figure-hugging black and white
outfit.

They told host Brian Dowling: “The house was so hard.

“We just know we are very popular. We just want to inspire other women to
be just like we are.”

Talking about the incident where Denise Welch pulled down Karissa’s pants in a
drunken prank, the Playmate said: “I was freaking out.

“I thought my whole butt was showing. I am happy with way I handled it. I
stood up for myself.”
