IT’S been six years since they made their debut on Waterloo Road but you’d be
hard pressed to recognise troublesome twins Shona and Rhona if you saw the
actress siblings nowadays.
The naughty schoolgirls were played by real-life sisters Hope and Millie
Katana who have turned their attention to launching a music career since
they left the show in 2012.
They were the subject of a custody battle in the BBC programme and were
fiercely competitive, but their TV personas couldn’t be more different to
the real them.
Since 2012 they have been performing together under the name The Katanas and
are believed to be working on their debut EP.
Now 20, they’ve left the dodgy make-up and ill-fitting school uniforms behind
and have become a stylish duo, although viewers still can’t seem to get over
their drastic image overhaul.
After receiving tweets about their major transformation, Hope replied to one
fan: “Lol can we just forget the blue eye liner stage now please.”
One fan commented: “Them dinners at Waterloo Road niced them fat twins because
they’re looking ripe now, orange juice had them new vitimins in it”
