Countryfile star Adam Henson left feeling sheepish after flock goes wild in city centre

Shepherding demo goes awry on busy street

A COUNTRYFILE presenter and professional farmer tried to show off his
shepherding skills on a busy street — and lost control of his flock.

The sheep ran off in all directions through crowds of bystanders gathered to
watch Adam Henson filming for the BBC1 rural affairs show.

Adam, 50, had been trying to get them into a pen on a historic road called
Sheep Street at Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire.

But he was instead forced to round them up from the surrounding area with the
help of his sheepdog plus several game onlookers.

There had been fears some of the Cotswold Sheep may charge into the River Avon
amid the chaos but they were all eventually safely herded.
