DANNII Minogue has made her first public appearance since The Sun exclusively
exposed her steamy affair with Simon Cowell.
The brunette, 40, appeared on stage at the Logie Awards in Melbourne,
Australia, last night.
And it was easy to see why Simon fell for the Aussie beauty who looked
stunning in a sexy purple dress and statement necklace at the telly awards
bash.
Beaming Dannii was at the do to induct her pal Molly Meldrum into the TV Week
Hall Of Fame.
The astonishing revelation of her fling with X Factor boss Simon appears in a
new book to be published next month called Sweet Revenge – The Intimate Life
of Simon Cowell, by acclaimed biographer Tom Bower.
Simon, 52, is said to have revealed: “I had a crush on her. It was Dannii’s
hair, the sexy clothes and the t**s. I was like a schoolboy.”
Simon and Dannii were on the panel of The X Factor together.
Australian star Dannii split from her long-term partner, Kris Smith, 33,
earlier this month. They have a 20-month-old son together Ethan.
Dannii and Kris, a former rugby league star who has played for Halifax and
Leeds, were together for four years.
They began dating in 2008 after meeting in a nightclub in Ibiza.
But after a series of rows and a trial separation, Kris has now left the
family home they shared in Melbourne.
Dannii issued a statement which read: “It brings me great sadness to tell
you that Kris & I have separated.
“We still care for each other & ask for privacy at this difficult
time, in particular for our son Ethan who remains our number one priority.”
Kris put his own message on Twitter, which read: “Dannii and I have a deep
mutual love and respect for each other and although things have not worked
out we have a gorgeous son together that we both love and implore everyone
to respect our privacy at this challenging time.”
