KERRY Katona has claimed she needed to get high on cocaine before she could
bring herself to have sex with former husband Mark Croft.
And, in her candid new autobiography she goes on to insist she never fancied
her ex of four years.
She told New magazine: “Basically, that’s why I was taking the drugs. Just to
have sex with him really.”
She also joked: “He was clearly punching above his weight with me.”
The 32-year-old admitted she still recoils in disgust when thinking about
Mark, who is the father of her children Heidi, five, and four-year-old Max.
She said: “It makes me feel physically sick. But to give him his credit, he
does make beautiful babies.”
The telly star’s tell-all book will cover her two failed marriages and the
serious addiction that led to her suicide attempt.
Admitting she has had a lucky escape, Kerry believes “should have been dead”
by the time she was 30.
And she reveals she begged ex-hubby Brian McFadden to take her back the night
before Mark, 40, proposed to her in 2006.
Kerry said: “He was with Delta (Goodrem) at the time. I thought, ‘F*** it! Why
not? I’ve got his kids.’”
Brian is now married to Irish model Vogue Williams and Kerry is no longer in
touch with him.
She said: “I don’t even have a number for him. I’d give anything to ring
Brian and his wife up and say, ‘The kids have a school play, do you want to
come.’”
The pair had a public row in September on Twitter shortly after Brian said in
an interview he had “no idea what he was doing” when he wed Kerry in 2002.
New magazine is out today.
