PARTY-LOVING Sarah Harding is to join the cast of Coronation Street.
The former Girls Aloud singer, 33, will get a guest spot playing a “feisty role” in the ITV soap over the summer.
Studio bosses are keeping the exact details of her character under wraps – but she is expected to clash with Tracy Barlow.
Sarah has previously appeared in movies St Trinian’s and Run for Your Wife as well as the BBC TV film Freefall.
She will start filming her scenes in May.
Producer Stuart Blackburn said: “Sarah is proving to be a gifted and exciting actor and I’m absolutely delighted to have her on board.
“The viewers are in for a treat as her character will be right at the heart of a massive new story for the Barlows.”
Sarah added: “I am extremely excited to be joining Coronation Street. As a fan of the show it is a huge honour for me to join the cast. I can’t wait to get started!”
