Tom Daley’s epic frying pan sends internet into frenzy

TWITTER has gone berserk for a frying pan – after diver Tom Daley tweeted a
picture of his epic version.

The 21-year-old’s original Instagram snap of him whipping up a full English
brekkie using an amazing five-segmented pan was captioned: “Sunday morning
full English breakfast for the American”, which is thought to be in
reference to his fiancé” – American screenwriter Dustin Lance Black.

So far the image has received over a whopping 46,000 viewers and prompted an
influx of comments on both Instagram and Twitter with social media users all
eager to get their mitts on their own mega-pan.

Users were quick to point out that ‘The Master Frying Pan’ can be bought on
websites such as Lakeland, Amazon and eBay – retailing for anything between
£59.99 and £87.

User Elena Cresci posted: “Considering dropping £70 on Tom Daley’s amazing
frying pan”.

Andrew Hoyland was also keen for the pan, writing: “When Tom Daley posts this
picture on Instagram and all you can think is ‘Id’ really like that pan.”

However there were a few who weren’t ‘pan fans’, Twitter user ‘iona no chill’
wrote: “Actually haunted by Tom Daley’s frying pan. Actual thing of
nightmares. It made me v uncomfortable. Bin it Tom, for the good of the
world.”

While some weren’t as haunted by the device as Iona, other, perhaps more
practical, Twitter users were more concerned with how the pan would actually
perform in the real-world, user Ryan Broderick quipping: “Ok, also, think
about cleaning Tom Daley’s stupid frying pan. It’s not going to fit in a
dishwasher.”

While Kit Lovelace wrote: “Can someone explain to me why Tom Daley’s pan is so
great? It looks huge unwieldy and like it would cook things really
unequally…”

A pan nearly identical to Tom’s is currently available from Lakeland for
£59.99 and is described as a pan in which “you can cook up to five different
foods at once – everything from a complete breakfast to a healthy salmon
dinner with accompanying vegetables to a feast of fajitas – with only one
pan to wash up at the end”.

The website also states that the pan is indeed dishwasher friendly.
