CHARLOTTE Crosby may have gone under the knife to get her perfect nose but the
surgeon who did the operation revealed that it could change shape over the
next year.

Her plastic surgeon, Mr Sultan Hassan told The Sun: “Healing will
continue for several months and in fact a nose can continue to change for
years.
“Around 80 per cent of the swelling generally will have subsided by about
a month after surgery and the remaining 20 per cent may take at least a
couple of years.”
Charlotte is thrilled with her new beak: “When I looked in the mirror, I
felt like it was a different person looking back at us, because it has
changed my face. But I literally loved it.”
She had her treatment at Elite Surgical Clinic in Birmingham.
Mr Hasan explained in more detail about Charlotte’s procedure: “A
rhinoplasty generally takes anywhere from 60 minutes for a very simple
reduction of a bony hump on the nasal bridge like Charlotte’s to over three
and a half hours for more complex reshaping.
“With good technique this is a relatively bloodless procedure.”
Charlotte’s mum and her Geordie Shore BFF Holly Hagan came to see the finished
result.
She explained: “They saw it first and gasped, me mam even screamed a
little bit. I was like, ‘Does it look bad?’ And Holly was like, ‘S***
Charlotte, it looks so good!'”
Charlotte showed off the results on a night out with the rest of the Geordie
Shore cast at a London nightclub.
While she was enjoying being back with the gang, Mr Hasan has given her strict
instructions about protecting her nose.
He said: “Smoking must be avoided as it can deleteriously affect healing
and cause worse scarring. I ask all my patients to avoid blowing their noses
to help reduce swelling.

“I advise all my patients to wear a splint at night for another couple of
weeks after surgery for added support in bed. Rather than avoid sleeping on
their front, I tell them to prop up additional pillows to help reduce
pressure on their head.”
Mr Hasan has also ordered Charlotte to leave her fitness DVD in the box until
she is completely better.
He added: “Charlotte has to avoid contact sports and heavy gym work for
six weeks to allow the nose to heal as the nasal bones are broken to help
give a nice shape once a hump is reduced.”
Charlotte went
from a size 16 to a size 8 in 2014 dropping four dress sizes and
released two best-selling fitness DVDs.
Despite having to skip the gym, Charlotte still looked fantastic on the night
out, dressed in a black polo neck and pleated tartan mini skirt.
She also cosied up to on/off boyfriend Gaz Beadle despite previously insisting
they were “over for good”.
Charlotte previously said: “I’m single. We spent some time together over
Christmas. It was nice but I don’t think I want to go back there again, I
don’t want it anymore.”
Gaz was spotted leading her by the hand out of the plush Bijoux nightclub and
they cuddled in the back of a taxi.
They are currently filming the 13th series of the MTV show together while the
12th series is due to hit our screens next month.
As this series celebrates the fifth anniversary of the show, nearly all the
Geordie Shore cast are making cameos on the series.
Kyle Christie, who left the show after splitting with girlfriend, Holly Hagan
during the last series, was spotted on the night out. Sophie Kasaei, who was
sacked after a racial outburst, was also out with the rest of the cast which
includes Marnie Simpson and Chloe Ferry.
