Second stabbing at conker death scene

A SCHOOLBOY has been stabbed in the same spot where a student was killed after
asking yobs to stop throwing conkers at him.

The 15-year-old has been taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition
after the attack near Silver Street railway station in Edmonton, north
London.

The knife attack comes just days after aspiring architect Steven Grisales was
stabbed as he made his way to a railway station.

He tragically died the next day from a single stab wound to the heart.

Two people have been arrested over the stabbing, Scotland Yard said.

Police were alerted to the attack at 6.50pm yesterday to reports of a stabbing
in College Close.

A police spokesman said: “Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air
Ambulance attended.

“A 15-year-old male was taken by air ambulance to an east London hospital.

“His injuries are serious, but not believed to be life-threatening.”

Enfield CID officers are investigating. Officers said the two suspects remain
in custody at north London police stations.

Detectives were said to be “unaware” of any link with the murder of
21-year-old Steven last week.

Steven was walking to the station in Edmonton, North London, when he was
pelted last Wednesday.

He asked the youths to stop, then one of them produced a knife and Steven was
stabbed.

A 15-year-old boy appeared in court today charged with the killing of steven
and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.
