A TERRIFIED mum-to-be clung from a window ledge shouting “Help, help, I’m
pregnant” in a desperate attempt to escape the carnage inside the
Bataclan theatre.
Video footage shows the woman hanging from a second floor window of the Paris
concert hall as dozens of people run out of the venue’s back door over dead
bodies and trails of blood.
Translators revealed that the woman, who is yet to be identified, was crying
out for help and stating she was pregnant as she struggled to hold on.
She is later seen being helped up through the window to safety. It is believed
she surived the ordeal.
The camera also captured the moment a severely injured person lying at the
exit just below attempts to use their mobile phone – probably to call for
help.
The video was taken by Le Monde journalist Daniel Psenny from his apartment in
a building opposite.
Psenny was later injured himself whilst trying to shelter victims in his flat
and is now being treated in Georges-Pompidou hospital.
The dramatic scene emerged after masked IS gunmen slaughtered 89 people with
grenades and rifles during a rock concert at the popular Bataclan concert
hall.
