ONE Direction star Liam Payne snapped up a £5.1million mansion for himself —
after buying a new home for his parents.
Dad Geoff, mum Karen and older sisters Nicola and Ruth all moved in to the
£400,000 property near Liam’s childhood home.
A pal said: “Liam thinks the world of his parents and it pains him to leave
his family behind when he is on tour.
“He is also a shrewd operator. At 21 he has shown excellent awareness of the
importance of investments. 1D won’t last for ever but Liam has already
secured several million in bricks and mortar.”
Liam paid £357,500 for the detached property near his childhood home in the
West Midlands, which the family still own. The new house has now increased
in value to £400,000.
The Sun revealed yesterday Liam had also bought himself a five-bedroom Surrey
pad.
The massive £5.1million property, with a tennis court, heated pool and home
cinema, is monitored by a top security system.
The star had previously complained about fans sitting outside his London pad.
