Road rage killer Tracie Andrews stole my husband

Wife agony at dad of four's pub fling with murderess

A WIFE told last night how her husband had been stolen by road-rage killer
Tracie Andrews.

Devastated Linsie Goldsworthy said her hubby Phil had begun an affair with
Andrews after meeting her at a pub where both worked.

She claimed the convicted murderer deliberately set out to snare dad-of-four
Phil despite knowing he was married and that she had “messed with his head”.

Linsie, 48, also said scheming Andrews had paid off huge debts for Phil, 53,
and that he had begun introducing her to mates as his girlfriend.

Linsie told The Sun: “That woman has stolen my husband from me. He is
besotted with her.

“I think she deliberately targeted him and knew he was married. He denied
having an affair but he has told me a lot of lies.”

Andrews, 43, met Phil after moving to a picturesque South West coastal town
following her release from prison in July 2011.

She had been let out on licence after serving 14 years of a life sentence for
knifing fiancé Lee Harvey 42 times in 1996.

She claimed Lee was the victim of a “staring” motorist in a road-rage row near
Alvechurch, Worcs.

Using the name Jenna Stephens she began working behind the bar at a pub where
Phil did Friday night stints as a bouncer.

Andrews had used £5,000 of NHS cash for jaw surgery and dyed her blonde hair
dark — but Phil soon found out who she was.

Linsie said: “He was fascinated by her. If we went out with friends he
would say excitedly, ‘Guess who’s working at the pub? The woman who stabbed
her boyfriend to death’.

“He would defend her from any criticism, claiming she had changed. As the
months went on he began talking about her more and more.

“He used to say she looked like Kat Slater from EastEnders — and he has always
fancied her. Then he started coming home from the pub at 4am, claiming they
were getting really busy.

“Our marriage wasn’t always perfect but I didn’t think he could be having an
affair.

“Then he began to change and didn’t want to know me. He went off sex, saying I
was too fat.”

Finally Linsie found out the truth when Phil accidentally sent her a
lovey-dovey text meant for Andrews on their 24th wedding anniversary.

The text ended with the words, “Night and thanks Jen for ringing xx”.

Linsie said: “I exploded. At first he denied the message was for her,
despite having her name in it. He insisted nothing was going on and they
were just friends.

“But even when he took me out for my birthday I found out he had spent the day
with her before seeing me.

“He told me they would just talk but he claims she is now a trained
psychologist and I think she has manipulated him.”

Linsie battled to save the marriage for another two weeks but following a
final blazing row she walked out of the family home they shared with son
Michael 16, and daughter Jodie, 20.

She now suffers depression and lives in a small flat with only her
terrier-cross called Tia — ironically a name Andrews assumed in prison to
shield her true identity.

Linsie, who is seeking a divorce, also claimed bisexual Andrews had showered
Phil with gifts and given him cash to help clear £4,000 he owed.

And she revealed that one of her hubby’s long-standing phobias was being STABBED
by a lover.

Linsie said: “We used to joke about it — he would say it was his ultimate
fear. I am now worried for his safety. A leopard never changes its spots so
who knows what she might do?”

The Sun saw carefree Andrews, who lives on a hill overlooking a glorious
bay, zooming from her flat into town in her sporty Peugeot coupe — wearing
designer gear to buy armfuls of goods.

Phil, who has two children aged 30 and 31 from a past relationship, denied an
affair with her.

He said: “That is untrue. My missus knows that isn’t true. I don’t know her as
Tracie Andrews — only as Jenna Stephens.”
