AN Airbnb weekend away turned to horror after a group of pals found a rotting
corpse in their rented pad’s garden.
The gang uncovered the decaying female body outside a large home near Paris
they rented for a birthday party.
The weekend bash came to an abrupt and horrifying halt when the group
discovered a shallow grave.
Inside were the decaying remains of an elderly woman – who police believe was
murdered.
The body was found curled up and buried under a covering of branches and logs,
wearing clothes but no shoes.
It is so rotten that police have been unable to identify the victim.
The owner of the home says he has been away for the last month and had no idea
there was a corpse in his back garden.
His guests had used Airbnb – the wildly popular rental site – to book the
three-storey home in a suburb of Paris.
They were set to party the weekend away for one of the group’s 25th birthday.
But they were so shocked by their discovery that they abandoned the home.
Airbnb removed it from their site after the macabre discovery.

The house, which costs £325 a night to rent, was described as a traditional
19th century French home, and comes with a swimming pool.
The owner, a married father of five, described himself as “flabbergasted” in
an interview with French media.
The man, referred to as Emmanuel L., told Le Parisien newspaper: “The tenants
who made this horrible discovery called me on Saturdday. I was
flabbergasted.
“I think somebody threw the corpse there.
“It was found 260ft from the house. My property goes right up to the path, and
there’s no fence.
“I’m surprised I haven’t seen it. I’ve been travelling for a month – it can’t
have been there longer than that.”
An Airbnb spokesman said they are helping the police investigation and have
offered support to the host and guests.
