This man just made a Cadbury’s Creme Scotch Egg… and it’s blowing people’s minds

Check out the finger-licking recipe

FANS of Cadbury’s Creme Egg and the classic British picnic snack, the scotch
egg, are going to be delighted.

A Reddit user has rustled up an epic combination called the Creme Scotch Egg.

The chocolatey treat appears to have whet the appetite of other users who
filled a thread with enthusiastic comments.

Konstantynopolitancz wrote “I would enhale that then hate myself”.

While AnnaZand responded with “Shh baby. Inhale that and then love
yourself. Cadbury eggs are the damn sh**”.

Another user sensibly noted that the egg would be packed with calories.

M0n5tr0 said: “What have you done! I gained a pound just clicking on this.”

Luckily a user under the name donaldcrunk was kind enough to share a recipe
for the chocolatey treat.

Donaldcrunk also listed the method to make the snack.

The chef recommended baking a very basic chocolate sponge first.

After allowing it to cool, crumble the cake in a food processor until the
texture resembles breadcrumbs.

Next add the remainder of the butter, icing sugar and cocoa, then mix until it
turns into the same consistency as dough or shortcrust pastry.

Then take handfuls of the dough, encase each Cadbury’s cream egg and roll into
fist sized balls.

Place each egg onto a plate or board covered with baking paper, then pop it in
the fridge to chill until its firm.

Grate 100 grams of chocolate into a bowl or plate and melt the remaining 200g
of chocolate.

Once the eggs are firm take them out of the fridge and dip them into the
melted chocolate, and immediatel roll them through the grated.

Pop them back in the fridge for a further 10 minutes to cool – then enjoy.
