GOGGLEBOX star Scarlett Moffatt has ditched her trademark heavy make-up to
film a sweet thank you message to fans.
The Geordie stunner, 25, looked virtually unrecognisable as she showed off her
bare face in the Instagram video.
She recorded the special message to thank fans who snapped up her new book and
gave it glowing reviews.
In the short clip, Scarlett is seen with make-up-free with her hair piled
messily on top of her head.
She appears tearful, but happy as she shows off her foundation-free face.
The TV regular explained that she ruined a spray tan by crying over the
positive reviews of new book Scarlett Says.
She said: “As you can see, I’ve just had a spray tan and I’ve got streaky
marks because I’ve been crying with happiness over the fact that people have
bought my book and everyone’s being so lovely about it.”
Scarlett also thanked fans in a gushing message posted alongside the video,
calling her supporters “absolute diamonds”.
She wrote in the caption: “Massive thank you to everyone whose bought my
book & shout outs to those absolute diamonds who’ve left me 5 star
reviews on Amazon!!”

The book was released this week and it is packed with funny stories and
Scarlett’s opinions on a variety of topics.
She has received a slew of positive reviews on Amazon from fans who have
whizzed through early copies.
Scarlett was thrilled with the kind words and posted one five star critique on
her Instagram page.
She wrote in a caption: “Couldn’t have asked for a better first review on
my book Scarlett Says. Could cry im so happy!!”
The TV star has been making a number of appearances this week to promote the
book, and even turned up on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man.
She took her mum with her on the trip to London for the interview. and posted
a picture of Betty reading the book on the train.
Scarlett added in a caption: “En route to London for Alan Carr with the
mother. Ahh slightly nervous on the vodkas already.”
The news comes after Googlebox hit the headlines this weekend as host Caroline
Aherne missed another episode amid her ongoing throat cancer battle.
Viewers expressed their concern for the star, who narrates the popular reality
TV show.
She recently returned to the role after taking time off to focus on her health
crisis.
