‘I wish I had never gone on at all’: Ex-Made In Chelsea favourite Andy Jordan regrets appearing on E4 show

The singer wishes he had found fame for his music, not for living in Chelsea

ANDY Jordan quit Made In Chelsea last year after two years on the show – but
now wishes he had never been involved in the first place.

He quit the award winning reality programme in 2015, just before the gang
headed to LA for a spin-off series.

But now the singer-songwriter, 25, wishes he was never involved in the E4
reality show in the first place.

He exclusively told The Sun Online: “In hindsight I wish I hadn’t done it the
way I have, I wish I had never gone on at all.

“When I left TV I didn’t really want to be on TV, I just wanted to write
music. In London it is hard because there is so many things distracting
you.”

Despite finding fame on telly, his experiences mean he will never turn to
reality shows to get his music career off the ground.

Speaking after his performance at the Royal National Institute of Blind
People’s See Through Sound event on Tuesday, he said: “No I would never do X
Factor.

“I just want to do my own thing. At the moment I am doing better in the
US than the UK, and it is the fastest growing fan base I’ve got.”

He famously dated original cast member Louise Thompson on the programme but is
now happily coupled with InStyle fashion editor Robyn Kotze.

And he admitted it is his girlfriend’s music taste which influences his shows.

He explained: “I like the mash ups. I have four or five, my girlfriend is a
Mariah Carey fan, so the next one I am doing is Fantasy in a reggae style.”

Now that his fan base is growing the clothing entrepreneur has secured a slew
of festival spots for the summer.

However, he admitted there’s only one headline slot which he is really eager
to fill.

He said: “Glastonbury is my number one goal, but not yet. I am playing Radio
One’s Big Weekend in Exeter though which will be amazing.

“I write a lot of house music, I am singing for a house DJ but I can’t
say who.

“I love festivals. I just get on it and have a great time. It’s the whole
point isn’t it?”
