JK ROWLING is up for a crime-writing prize… as her alter ego Robert
Galbraith.
The Harry Potter writer has been nominated for the Theakstons Old Peculier
Crime Novel of the Year for her thriller Career of Evil.
Scots author Val McDermid – who shot to fame with bestseller The Wire in the
Blood – has been included for Splinter The Silence.
