A CURVY EastEnders fan told last night how film hunk Danny Dyer blurted out he
was joining the soap — as he bedded her behind the back of his pregnant
missus.
Laura Boyd, 20, became one of the first to know about his TV role after the
Cockney star — being touted as the “new Dirty Den” — had sex with her four
times during a one-night stand at a hotel.
She had no idea he was already spoken for and about to become a dad for the
third time — but confessed: “It was the best sex I have ever had. He was a
real gentleman.
“I felt like I was floating in a bubble for days afterwards.”
Blonde Laura lifted the lid on his lust just days after the BBC triumphantly
unveiled the 36-year-old as the Queen Vic’s new landlord.
He makes his debut at Christmas as Mick Carter — who takes over the pub from
Alfie Moon, played by Shane Richie.
But the soap’s closely-guarded secret came as no surprise to Laura — after the
love rat seduced her three months ago at a swanky club in her home town of
Bangor in Northern Ireland.
He charmed her with his Cockney accent, telling her: “Oh babe you’re so lovely
— you’re fit.”
Laura told how they romped after he invited her to his luxury suite at a
Belfast hotel. She recalled: “Danny told me the EastEnders people wanted him
to come in and do an episode. He said he was in talks about it. I never
thought he would become the next Dirty Den though.”
Dyer’s cheating will rock his partner of 20 years Joanne Mas.
She is mum to their daughters Dani, 17, and Sunnie, five — and is due to give
birth again within weeks after already forgiving him at least twice for
doing the dirty on her. In 2001 she gave him his marching orders when he
briefly dated Billie Piper. Seven years later she booted him out of the
family home for going on a wild bender with pop babe Lily Allen.
Laura told how Dyer — famed for playing Cockney geezers in films such as
2004’s The Football Factory — was at the trendy Café Ceol in Bangor as part
of a promotion by the nightspot upstairs, called Status, to pull in punters.
She was on a night out with four pals — and asked for a photo. Dyer
immediately kissed her. Laura said: “He just grabbed my hand and said,
‘You’re fit, you’re coming with me’.
“He didn’t have a chat-up line but it worked on me.
“I was like, ‘Wow, OK’. It’s not every day a famous movie star invites you
back to his hotel.”
They clambered into a chauffeur-driven car at 1am along with Dyer’s actor chum
Tamer Hassan — his co-star in 2005 gangster flick The Business.
The pair were staying at the Malmaison hotel in nearby Belfast, where Dyer
took Laura to the bar and bought her a pint of Carlsberg. She said: “I loved
hearing his Cockney accent.”
They then headed up to Hassan’s room.
Laura said: “We talked for hours — about what Danny was doing at work, what
sort of films he was working on.
“He mentioned one of his daughters. He seemed like a really nice bloke.”
Finally he invited her to his suite. Laura recalled: “One thing led to
another. I was lying on the bed while he was sitting by the window. Then he
just came over and kissed me. When I went back to the hotel I really didn’t
think I was going to end up sleeping with him. But it just happened.”
They fell asleep after twice having sex. But a few hours later Dyer woke her
again — and passionately made love to her two more times.
They lay in bed until midday before Dyer ordered a cab to take her back to
Bangor.
He then caught a flight home to England. Laura said: “I only found out later
he had a girlfriend. I feel really bad. But at the end of the day I didn’t
know. She can’t blame me.
“I don’t think many girls would have turned him down.
“He is a famous movie star and really good-looking.”
After Laura got home to her 2½-year-old son Reece she sent the actor a polite
text thanking him for the taxi.
He texted back, saying: “Bless you Laura, try and have a lovely relaxing day.
It was so lovely to meet ya. XX.” He went on to post a message on Twitter
saying: “Just wanna thank Bangor for the love. Truly overwhelming. I look
forward to round 2. ;-).”
Dyer hinted before they parted that they could hook up in the future. Laura
said: “I was really hoping I might see him again.”
Despite hearing nothing more from the star, she insisted: “I love EastEnders
and will definitely be watching him over Christmas.”
The actor will appear behind the bar of the Queen Vic alongside his screen
wife Linda.
She is played by 37-year-old Kellie Bright, who has starred in Bad Girls. The
couple are tipped to become the new Den and Angie Watts — the husband and
wife team played by Leslie Grantham and Anita Dobson whose stormy marriage
as they ran the soap’s boozer gripped fans back in the 1980s.
Dyer’s character Mick is described as a “bloke’s bloke” with a soft heart.
The actor said as he prepared to begin filming his new EastEnders role later
this month: “I’m so excited about starting a new chapter in my career. I
cannot wait to become part of the East End family.”
Dyer — a true Eastender born in Canning Town — previously discussed a part on
Albert Square in 2009.
But he was said to fear the pressure of such a high-profile TV role and
decided against it. He has admitted in the past cheating on the mother of
his kids. Dyer confessed on one occasion: “I’ve done so many things that
I’ve regretted. I’ve f****d up so many times.
“Last year I royally f****d up with my missus.
“I got caught out doing something I shouldn’t have done.”
He added: “I hate myself for what I did and for being tempted by forbidden
fruit.”
