WEST
HAM have sensationally swooped to snap up ex-Chelsea
prodigy Domingos Quina.
The teen has been searching for a new club after quitting the Blues last
month.
Quina feared he would never be handed a chance to shine at Stamford Bridge and
subsequently cut off all ties on his return from international duty with
Portugal’s U17s.
The 16-year-old was only at Chelsea as a scholar, allowing him to leave
without complications despite being a Blue since the age of 13.
And West Ham have taken full advantage of the situation by handing Quina a
deal just days
after signing Spanish starlet Toni Martinez from Valencia.

Quina confirmed on Instagram: “Happy to enjoy @whufc_official family. Now time
to work thank god.”
The deal taking him to east London should be regarded as a real coup for
Slaven Bilic, with a number of top Premier League sides chasing the
attacking midfielder.
Manchester
United, Liverpool
and Tottenham
sent
scouts to watch Quina in action just before he quit Chelsea, while Arsenal
were hopeful of striking an agreement.
It is believed that the player has signed on as a scholar at Upton Park,
meaning no fee has to be paid, although he will be able to agree his first
professional deal with the Hammers once he turns 17.
Bilic is keen to build a dynasty once his side switch to the Olympic Stadium
this summer, and has been linked with a number of top-class players after
bolstering his side with the likes of Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini last
year.

for Arsenal’s Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain is also being considered.
