Watch Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in action during live Sun webchat

Pair gave us all the inside info on their brand new film The World's End

NICK Frost can drink his pals under the table – but he steers clear of pub
crawls.

In our live webchat for The World’s End, with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, he
admitted he could down up to 20 pints in a session.

But he added: “I’m not a big pub crawler because I am essentially a lazy man.
I like to find a nice pub and sit in it and drink.

“I don’t want to combine drinking with exercise by having to walk from pub to
pub.”

In the new movie, five friends return to their hometown to finish an epic
drinking session that they failed to complete 20 years before.

But the group discover their hometown has been taken over by robots and their
only chance of saving themselves is to make it to the final pub on their
list – The World’s End.

Despite the boozy theme, Nick’s the only one who can still tear it up on a
night out.

Simon is now teetotal and Edgar – whose own pub crawl experience was the basis
for the movie – said: “I attempted a pub crawl when I was 19 and I got
through six of the 15 pubs in my hometown.

“When I tried a similar thing later, I got through four.I’m a lightweight.”

But he admitted to a drunken gaff on the first occasion.

He added: “I went looking for a girl I was dating and forgot she was out
of town. I woke her mum up instead and she was a bit distressed.”

Simon said the biggest booze session he remembers was his stag night, before
his wedding the missus Maureen in 2005.

He said: “My stag do was quite an adventure, We were in Belgium, trawling
the city for places to imbibe and in the end We went looking for a
gentlemen’s club and ended up in a pub called The Cock, eating German
sausage.”

The comedy is the third movie from the talented trio, who were behind 2004’s
Shaun of the Dead and the 2007 cop comedy Hot Fuzz.

And they tell us how much fun they had reuniting on set… sometimes too much
fun.

Director Edgar revealed: “Something always happens that just sets people
off (laughing).

“I spent the whole time (onset), saying ‘come on guys’.”

Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan, Rosamund Pike and Paddy Considine also star in
the movie.

And Simon outs The Office and The Hobbit star Martin as the biggest onset
joker, who would go out of his way to ruin scenes by making people laugh.

Simon and Nick first worked together on the TV series Spaced, which Simon
co-wrote with Jessica Stevenson.

After their big screen zombie comedy, Simon went on to star in Run Fatboy Run,
How To Lose Friends and Alienate People before joining Tom Cruise in two
Mission Impossible movies.

In 2009, he played Scotty in JJ Abrams’s blockbuster Star Trek remake, and
reprised the role earlier this year in the sequel, Star Trek: Into Darkness.

Despite their close friendship, Nick admits he NEVER watches his pal in other
films – even sci-fi hit Star Trek: Into Darkness.

Nick has himself starred in Kinky Boots, The Boat That Rocked and Snow White
and the Huntsman.

He tells us what it was like co-starring alongside Kristen Stewart in the
fantasy film, insisting the headline-grabbing star is “just a quiet,
shy woman”.

He also reveals he’s already signed up to star in the sequel.

Edgar’s career has exploded since Shaun Of The Dead.

He directed Simon and Nick in Hot Fuzz and co-wrote The Adventures of Tin Tin
– which they both starred in.

The writer-director was also behind the film adaptation of Scott Pilgrim vs
The World.

But he reveals he loved reuniting the old pals for The World’s End.

He also lets us in on his ice cream obsession and why Cornettos feature in
Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and his newest film.

Watch back the webchat and also find out what nasty injuries the two actors
suffered on set – as well as the sci-fi fans’ views on the eternal debate on
what’s better …. Star Trek or Star Wars.
