RAKE-thin designer Karl Lagerfeld has blasted Adele’s appearance – labelling
her “too fat”.
The fashion mogul slammed the Brit songbird’s looks in a newspaper interview.
In it he said: “The thing at the moment is Adele — she is a little too fat,
but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.”
The Chanel chief also came out in support of chart-topper Lana Del Rey –
however he wondered whether she had ever gone under the knife.
He said: “Lana Del Rey is not bad at all — she looks very much like a
modern-time singer and in her photos she is beautiful.
“Is she a construct with all her implants? She’s not alone with implants.”
Adele has previously said she’s content to be curvy as it means she can still
indulge.
She said: “I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine.
“I love seeing Lady Gaga’s boobs and bum. I love seeing Katy Perry’s boobs and
bum. Love it.
“But that’s not what my music is about. I don’t make music for eyes, I make
music for ears.”
The soul singer, who has recently undergone throat surgery is looking trimmer.
This isn’t the first time that Karl, 78, has blasted a woman over her weight.
In 2009 he was quoted saying multi-millionaire model Heidi Klum was “too
heavy” and “had a big bust” so could never be a catwalk model.
