SECTION 5: PRIZES
5.1 Prizes
Save as otherwise stated, there are no alternatives to the Prizes stated for each Game and the Prizes are not transferable and no part or parts of any Prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions. However, we may substitute a Prize with one of equal or greater value in the event that we are unable to award the stated Prize for any reason.
All non-cash Prizes are only available if you are registered in the United Kingdom or Ireland and your postal address for receipt of any such non-cash Prize is in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. For anywhere else in the world, we will substitute the non-cash Prize with a cash equivalent which will be sent to your bank account by electronic bank transfer. The cash equivalence shall be reasonably determined by us and shall not include any VAT or sales tax in respect of the relevant non-cash Prize.
The provision of any Prize does not imply endorsement by us of the third party prize provider or any other third parties concerned in any way with the Games.
5.2. Prize Payments to winners
All verified winners of any cash Prizes will be paid by electronic transfer to your account once ID, age verification and any other checks as we may reasonably determine appropriate to verify your age, identity, location and to meet legal obligations, have been carried out and we have details of your account or any other account that we believe may be linked to your account.
Prizes will be awarded to you without you needing to make a claim and, subject to successful checks being carried out by us, we will do our best to verify the results within 14 days of the competition ending. We will then seek to pay the winner within 28 days of receiving your bank details.
Once payments have been sent to your account, the Promoter is unable to transfer funds to a different account.
If the attempted payment of a cash Prize to you fails for any reason (such as the transaction is not accepted by the issuing bank) then we will also attempt to contact you by the mobile number and/or email address you have provided to us when registering for the Game or updated by you subsequently, and arrange appropriate payment to you.
We may suspend the award of any Prizes in the event of the occurrence of an event outside our control which might include: network failures, malfunctions to our systems, war, terrorist activity, riots, malicious damage, fire, flood, storm, nuclear accident or compliance with any new law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction. We will award you any Prizes due to you as soon as the relevant event outside our control allows us to do so.
If we are unable to contact you for any reason within 28 days of the winner being determined, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit your Prize.
If any winner is later found to be ineligible to win any Prize for any reason, then the winner must return the Prize back to the Promoter within 28 days of its request. If the Promoter has not yet paid cash Prize or awarded a non-cash Prize, then it will be forfeited and no Prizes will be awarded to the ineligible entrant under any circumstances.
All cash amounts will be paid in British Pounds Sterling. If your bank account is in a different currency, (e.g. Euros) the cash Prize amount may differ to the amount stated due to the then current conversion rate offered by your bank and may be subject to conversion fees (these are both outside of the control of the Promoter and the Promoter cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies or fees).
